Europa-Haus Leipzig e.V. is a non-profit association that has been founded in 1990 and since then strives to strengthen the European Idea in the city of Leipzig, Germany. Since 1992, the association manages and monitors the official center of information of the European Commission, “Europe Direct”, for the region of North-West-Saxony. Due to its three core tasks – information, education, encounter – Europa-Haus Leipzig e.V. has managed to establish itself as a strong local point for European concerns, both for the citizens of Leipzig, and various international project partners.
