School of Foreign Languages has 23 English instructors and about 200 students.The aim of our school is to teach English to the students studying at KSU at international standards by coordinating and monitoring the academic work in its departments, namely DBE (Department of Basic English) and DML (Department of Modern Languages). The SFL also aims at equipping each student with language skills that will enable him/her to carry out similar tasks in English. While achieving these aims, the SFL seeks to educate its students in such a way that they become constructive, creative, knowledgeable, intellectual individuals who are open to new ideas and aware of ethical and cultural values. We also encourage our students to develop solutions on youth problems and increase their participation to social and democratic life. Also we are Eurodesk Contact Point and we try to make our students informed about the social projects,and EU projects and also encourage them to take part in both social and academic projects. As a Eurodesk Contact Point, we always hold meetings and conferences to raise awareness of the students about EU and EU projects.We also have some other activities for our students such as football tournament,contest,radio club, theather club, volleyball and football tournament among the teachers and students in order to make them much more sociable individuals.
