I work for CWVYS (the Council for Wales of Voluntary Youth Services), which is the independent representative body for the voluntary youth work sector in Wales.
Our aims are to represent, support and give a collective voice to its membership of national and local organisations in their work with over 250,000 young people in Wales. CWVYS works in partnership with agencies promoting good youth work practice.
As the main point of contact I'm responsible for fielding queries from youth policy to European opportunities for young people and youth workers!
Personally I create informative newsletters linking our member organisations to the Eurodesk network, letting them know what avenues are availible to be explored.
I've attended numerous seminars and contact-making events and helped broker partnerships with our members in Wales and fantastic European organisations!
