The Association for Youth Welfare Services and Social Work (JuSeV), located in Fürstenwalde in the Eastern part of the federal state of Brandenburg, provides services for the whole regional community in the fields of youth work, non-formal education, culture, social training and individual support for children, youth and their parents. An emphasis is put on the prevention of violence and actions against right-wing extremism. We are running a youth centre with different sectors like a primary school, a community centre, social work and integrative care in schools, children day care centres and for the integration of young people into the labour market. We are international activities in youth exchanges and trainings, voluntary services and a local relay for European youth information services. Since 2002 we work in the EVS as host, send and koordinating Organisation. I am responsible for the EVS and german volunteer services.
